Welcome to our second grade blog! We hope you will find it useful and provide tools that support what we are teaching in the classroom. "The principal goal of education is to create men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done." - Jean Piaget

Mismatching, Misplacing Mattie (mid-, mis-)
Please help Mismatching, Misplacing Mattie out! She can't seem to get her stuff together. She misprinted some of her words and misplaced her spelling words. Her earrings, hair, sock, and shoes mismatch because she picked it out at midnight!
Study your spelling words (not at midnight) so you can help her out this Friday.

Molly Mixture's Adventures
Watch out for Chef Molly Mixture. She is always on an adventure looking for words that have -tion and -ture in them.
She will be working with the chefs in training (aka the students) who will then take their cooking test (aka spelling test) on Friday to see if they will become head chefs. So study, study, study little chefs in training!!!
