Our second graders had a very special guest come to visit them. It was Mama Jama the Storyteller. She taught us a song, told us a funny story, and reminded us of how very important reading and school are to our lives.
Check out some of the pictures from the storytelling:
Mama Jama (the storyteller) and Papa Jama
All of us waiting! We were excited.
Mama Jama telling a story. It was about a girl and a magic snail!
We danced!!!
We were amazed!
Thanks Mama Jama and Papa Jama for coming. We LOVED it!
Welcome to our second grade blog! We hope you will find it useful and provide tools that support what we are teaching in the classroom. "The principal goal of education is to create men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done." - Jean Piaget
